Job Description:
- As part of the Pre-Foreclosure milestone Review Team.
- Evaluates processing adherence to regulatory, procedural, and client requirements of Loss mitigation agent decisions.
- Performs ongoing review of loans prior to foreclosure referral and sale.
- checks the accuracy, completeness, and adherence to investor/insurer criteria of Loss Mitigation procedures.
- Checks for trial payment compliance and borrower assistance in developing modifications, as well as for violations of modifications.
- Confirms borrowers were educated with loss mitigation opportunities prior to foreclosure referral and sale.
- Reviews call recording transcripts for proper handling of loss mitigation opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- In this position, you must resolve common issues, mostly by following precedent and broad rules.
- You should only engage with your immediate supervisor and members of your own team.
- It is important to note that this role may require you to work rotating shifts.
- You will receive detailed to moderate level instruction on daily work tasks as well as detailed instruction on new assignments.
- As part of the Mortgage Servicing and Default management portfolios, you will work on loans related to loss reduction, foreclosure, bankruptcy, escrow analysis, investor reporting, and credit bureau reporting, among other things.
- For regulatory and procedural compliance, you must produce or test the current quality controls.
